Vickar Ford is recruiting an experienced Autobody Estimator to add to their high-performance team Their primary role will be to assess vehicle damage and determine cost of repair for insurance claim settlement.

**Essential Duties**
- Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop manager.
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors.
- Evaluates practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
- Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
- Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.
- Other related tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 1+ years of repair planning/estimating experience.
- I-Car training and certification a strong asset
- Must be physically able to perform a combination of standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching and handling/lifting 50+ lbs readily throughout shifts
- Customer service oriented
- A self-motivated team player, seeking long-term career growth
- Must work effective during periods of high workload
