Body Shop Estimator

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for repairs using industry-standard software.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and repair options.
- Collaborate with technicians and management to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the repair process, addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
- Assist in cash handling and processing payments as required.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a dealership environment or as a mechanic is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and mechanical systems.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
- Proven customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using estimating software and other relevant tools.
- A valid driver's license is required.
