**Primary Focus**:
Reporting directly to the Manager of Support Services, this position is responsible for maintaining all waitlist management functions for both Adult Case Management (ACM) and Children’s Case Management (CCM) teams.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the development of waitlist management processes and materials
- Collaborate with program leadership to develop metrics for this strategy
- Clearly communicate to individuals the role of case management
- Closely collaborate with program leadership to ensure equitable assignment of individuals
- Ability to triage needs for individuals on waitlist
- Ability to assist individuals with completion of documentation, as needed
- Ensure quality of waitlist data
- Completes documentation related to the program work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- A minimum of 3 years of Developmental Sector related experience.
- A diploma in Social Service Work or Developmental Service Work.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Must have strong analytical, problem solving and reasoning skills.
- Strong time-management, and coordination skills.
- Commitment to a professional work ethic
- Knowledge of the services available for adults and children with physical and developmental disabilities, and mental health.
- An ability to express opinion in a firm manner demonstrating good judgment and respect.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation.
- Bilingual in both official languages (written and verbal) is essential.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
**Working Conditions**
Work is normally completed within a hybrid environment. Constant interruptions may be expected; however, work is generally scheduled with priorities established in advance.
