Overview

Minimum 2 years experience as a 1st cook, able to produce modern Italian food using high quality ingredients in a very dynamic environment

**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Cook and plate menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace at all times
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages

**Skills**

  • Proven experience as a Line Cook in a restaurant or similar environment
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in food safety and sanitation
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff

Pay: $17.20-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
