**Position Summary**:
Make a meaningful impact on the development of critical water, wastewater, and drainage infrastructure with the City of Regina As the Coordinator, Water & Sewer Programming, you’ll contribute to essential projects that keep our city’s water systems running smoothly. This is a term/secondment opportunity for up to 2 years with the Sewer & Drainage Branch.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide technical advice, direction, and recommendations to support the planning and construction of water, wastewater, and drainage infrastructure.
Interpret and analyze data, processes, and programs to develop options, solutions, improvements, and recommendations.
Research and evaluate options for construction methods and technologies, including planning, design, materials, construction, and asset management.
Review and recommend construction proposals, schedules, and plans related to Water and Sewer Services.
Develop and recommend corporate construction standards, policies, and practices.
Prepare technical reports, contract documents, requests for proposals, and related correspondence.
Manage projects, work programs, and budgets, including overseeing contract administration.
Supervise and direct staff, consultants, and contractors.
Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

**Key Qualifications**:
A two (2) year Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Environmental Engineering Technology, or Water Resources Technology with a minimum of five (5) years of experience with water, wastewater and/or drainage infrastructure.
Must be registered with Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT) as an Applied Science Technologist (A.Sc.T.) or be eligible to obtain during probation period.
**Knowledge of Water Infrastructure**: Understand principles and processes related to water, wastewater, and drainage construction, including safety standards and materials.
**Advanced Software Skills**: Proficient in productivity software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and specialized software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) for analysis and management of infrastructure systems.
**Data Analysis Ability**: Analyze complex data and interpret specifications, plans, and regulations effectively.
**Project Management Knowledge**: Familiarity with project management principles and processes.
**Administrative Management Knowledge**: Understanding of administrative and supervisory principles in business management.
**Construction Project Management**: Ability to manage multiple construction projects, information systems, programs, and budgets.
**Budget Management Skills**: Evaluate progress and quality of engineering projects, programs, and contracts.
**Leadership and Supervision**: Lead and coordinate staff, consultants, and contractors effectively.
**Interpersonal Skills**: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups, including the public and colleagues.
**Communication Skills**: Communicate ideas clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to various audiences.
Working/Other Conditions
Must possess a valid Class Five (5) driver’s license and have a vehicle available for work usage.
