We are looking for an amazing supervisor to join our team at our **KANATA **location (767 Silver Seven Road) Supervisors are responsible for the smooth functioning of the kitchen. Must have strong product knowledge and demonstrate exceptional team leadership. Knowledge of basic cake decorating skills an asset

This is a full time, contract position to cover a Maternity Leave. There is opportunity to be hired on permanently the contract is finished.

Must have weekend availability

**General Duties**:

- able to follow recipes with a passion for baking
- monitor quality control and production levels
- oversee staff
- monitor inventory and waste
- ensure overall cleanliness and health standards are being met
- amazing customer service skills
- physical ability to work standing for several hours. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

**Credentials and experience**:

- experience working in a bakery and/or college diploma in a related field
- experience supervising a team
- knowledge of allergen friendly baking an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
