**Job Description**:

- The main purpose of the Social Media Lead role is to support a consistent and holistic view of social media activity across CH business, taking brand strategy and managing the social media process from content collection to posting, community management and social listening, ensuring a true and sustained brand voice. The Social Media Lead will be responsible for overall project management, coordination and strategy alignment across brands and corporate messages. Managing daily content calendars, community management effort and escalations, and working with Communications on reactive responses will also be part of this role. The Social Media lead will be responsible for setting and evaluating relevant objectives and metrics, working with various internal departments, and will be responsible for monitoring and providing key insights from social channels, both earned and owned, to the business units in an effort to better understand trends in consumer behavior and affinity to our brands and our competitors. They will be accountable for deciphering what is important, meaningful data and then communicating the concise story in a way that allows the business to make decisions based on these insights on a monthly or quarterly basis.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Conduct customer campaign workshops with the business in order to understand their objectives and creative a proposal to meet these objectives including creative waves, contact logic and KPI's;
- As the main contact for agency partners, oversee community management and social listening process in coordination with all key stakeholders to ensure that we are quickly listening, appropriately responding and consistently maintaining online image;
- Creation and management of PDCA documentation and monthly or quarterly reporting to brand stakeholders;
- Coordinate adhoc social listening requests to effectively implement and provide these insights to business in timely manner;
- Make recommendations on social content and pivot of strategy when needed;
- Work on selection of new vendors and assist with management of vendor portfolio;
- Provide weekly updates with the social media team / management to keep them up to date on timelines and what key insights have been completed for each business.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree or Diploma in Business Admin/Marketing, Communications, Project Management;
- 5 years in a relevant internal or external position;
- Previous experience with project management. Previous online/social analytics an asset. Marketing or Public Relations background preferred;
- Marketing communications, project management. Ability to work with multiple external vendors. Understanding of brand identity;
- Project management skills - including but not limited to Strong interpersonal and team building skills, Strong communication and presentation skill, and Multitasking ability;
- Decision making capabilities, able to communicate effectively;
- Ability to be agile in approach and change quickly;
- Communication ability with Content creators in internal departments (Advertising, Honda of Canada Mfg., Honda Canada Foundation, PR, HR, etc.);
- Work with Social Media Agency Partners, Internal brand units, and executives to pass along insights on top performing content and engagements for the purpose of content planning.
