The WELL People and Culture (P&C) Team provides HR Shared Services to the corporate team and our subsidiaries - serving over 3,600 team members across the WELL family. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at WELL, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent to meet the company's hiring needs. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and business unit leaders to understand their requirements, develop effective recruitment strategies, and execute the full-cycle recruiting process. We are looking for an energetic, results-oriented individual with a strong track record of acquiring high-quality talent across various functional areas. **Key Responsibilities**: - Collaborate with the Chief People Officer and Director of People and Culture to develop talent acquisition and retention strategies. - Partner with business unit leaders and hiring managers to support the hiring process, define position requirements, understand hiring needs, and create job descriptions/postings that attract top talent. - Collaborate with hiring managers to facilitate the interview processes, provide feedback, and guide them through the selection and decision-making process. - Stay updated on industry trends and recruitment best practices to improve the talent acquisition strategy and processes continuously and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment-related programs, personnel policies, and relevant provincial and federal laws regarding employment practices. - Develop an interview guide, testing process/platform and training program for hiring managers and ensure the right questions are asked, processes followed and compiled. - Proactively source talent through social media, talent campaigns, referrals, and other networks. - Be a brand ambassador, and work with the marketing team to promote our WELL culture to attract the best talent. - Gather, analyze, and define reporting needs and develop new reports as required. - Provide timely information/analytical insights to enable data-driven decision-making. - Leverage and implement AI tools where possible to enhance the overall recruitment process. - Other P&C Shared Services-related duties as required. **Requirements**: - An RPR or related designation would be considered an asset. - Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar role, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. Experience recruiting in the healthcare and technology industry is a great asset, but not mandatory. - Demonstrated success in sourcing and acquiring high-quality talent for diverse functional areas and levels within an organization. - Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and best practices in recruitment and selection. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support networking both in person and online and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
