**Overview**
**Duties**
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, tracking expenses against forecasts.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage to manage financial records efficiently.
- Generate financial reports to provide insights into the company’s financial position.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data for reporting purposes.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and budgeting techniques.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and managing accounts payable/receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
