**Shipper and Receiver**

We’re hiring a shipping and receiving associate for our Ancaster location. You’ll partner with our Ancaster team to receive, organize and store high-quality products, as well thoughtfully package and support sending them out to our customers.

**What you’ll do**
- Collaborate with customer service in scheduling deliveries (in priority sequence)
- Compile route plan for drivers (decide which orders go out on which truck)
- Schedule LTL shipments
- Occasional deliveries via pick up truck/transit van
- Complete proper shipping docs, ie: bill of lading
- Schedule dock times for inbound goods
- Compile and double check shipments
- Place incoming stock in designated storage areas daily
- General housekeeping
- Bring documentation from warehouse into office
- Main contact for compiling goods for walk in customers
- Load/unload Plant Products trucks
- Receive incoming goods
- Property maintenance (keep Plant Products property clean and organized)
- Observe and promote compliance with all relevant policies and procedures
- Ensure that all goods leaving Plant Products have been properly billed
- Direct third party truck traffic, and keep all traffic lanes clear
- Ensure that no visitors can freely walk around facility. Visiting drivers should be restricted to waiting area by door, or be able to access their truck trailer as needed.
- Any additional duties which may be required on a day to day basis
- Work in accordance with company mission statement, employee handbook and company procedures
- Keep up to date with and conform to all corporate policies and procedures, specifically, but not limited to: Bio shipping procedures, warehouse procedure
- Maintain a strict code of confidentiality concerning Plant Products business activities and all related affairs including but not limited to knowledge specific to

**Scheduled Duties**
- Monthly AWSA checks (First week of each month)
- Morning and end shift sign-offs
- Monthly JHSC check list
- Attend quarterly JHSC meeting
- Daily forklift checks

**Who you are**
- Valid G license with a good driving history (abstract to be provided)
- Special consideration given to those with a valid AZ license
- Team orientated
- Fast-learner, who looks at all sides of a process
- Highly organized
- Self-starter

**Hours**
- Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (with occasional overtime)
