Hotel Assistant General Manager

The Assistant General Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Contribute to Diamond Canada Group's goal of providing excellent guest satisfaction
- Sets appropriate objectives for the hotel's performance including those relating to guest satisfaction ratings, occupancy, etc.
- Develops a plan to achieve objectives and tracks performance against these.
- Manages on-property costs associated with rooms and housekeeping to improve profitability.
- Provides effective leadership and supervision of Hotel operations.
- Coordinates between different departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service is being provided.
- Strives to achieve the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains strong business relationships with clients and employees.
- Follows up on any guest or employee issues to ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Provides accurate, timely, and complete input to the Senior Management.
- Escalates any concerns to the Senior Management in a timely manner.
- Trains employees and sets the right example.
- Conducts effective performance reviews.
- Delegates duties and responsibilities appropriately.
- Walks the property to ensure public spaces, grounds, work areas meet sanitation and cleanliness/maintenance standards.
- Understands and implements safety and security measures.
- Understands quality standards and communicates them effectively to the team.
- Handles all guest comments in a timely and effective manner.
- Is able to communicate and maintain brand standards.
