Purchasing and inventory control of maintenance supplies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchasing and inventory control of maintenance supplies
- Receiving and stocking inventory parts
- Assisting in maintenance administrative duties as required
- Maintaining inventory in an organized manner
- Expediting maintenance supplies
- Daily collection and logging of work orders on computer
- Daily, weekly, monthly preparation of reports
- Ordering, cataloguing, costing of parts
- Maintaining in-house supply of parts inventory
- Reporting on maintenance budget status
- Flexibility with scheduling to meet demands of department
- Must be customer oriented
- Highly tenacious in follow-up
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide back-up to Work Order Coordinator
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
- Adhere to GMP’s
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Keep work area clean and clear of hazards
- Report any unsafe conditions, incidents or injuries to Supervisor immediately
- Use all prescribed personal protective equipment
- Ensure GMP’s and safe food handling practices are being followed
- All tools to be cleaned and maintained in good repair. Report any broken, damaged, or missing tools to your supervisor. Do not discard any damaged or broken tools.
- Follow all GMPs including maintaining personal hygiene, handwashing/sanitizing hands, clean up spills (ie: ingredients, water, debris and wood)
- Report any foreign material findings to your supervisor
- As part of food security, report any unusual people or behaviours to your supervisor

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or quivalent required
- College diploma and/or willingness to enrol in related courses on a part-time basis is required
- Post-secondary school education in a technical field preferred
- Inventory systems and parts experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Heavy lifting may be required
