**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and service. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage and hire a team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, preparation and delivery to the client
- Manage a team of 5 employees. Also have the responsibility of hiring new team members.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion sizes
- Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement manager to order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials
- Manage scheduling and labor costs to optimize productivity
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines and control costs
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of Culinary and Cooking, not required to Cook but should have knowledge to manage the Chefs
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
