**Role Summary**

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Supervisor assists in the day-to-day by managing a team of dedicated drivers and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel and lubricants to clients.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Supervise 20 drivers between two locations (Burlington/St. Catharines)
- Coach and motivate performance for drivers, in consultation with the Operations Director and HR
- Always maintain confidentiality
- Overseeing day to day operations in Burlington and St. Catharines
- Providing oversite to driver group and dispatch
- Manage/ execute driver road tests following a specific guideline to measure qualifications
- New driver onboarding and training
- Monitoring new driver in truck training with senior driver
- Drive a culture of proactivity and contribute in a positive way to effectively prevent or address potential safety, employee, or client issues
- Additional duties as required to ensure effective function of operations
- General Dispatch support and vacation coverage

**About You**
- University or College degree in Business or equivalent relevant experience in oil, gas, and construction an asset
- Must be able to drive a truck with a valid DZ license and clean drivers abstract
- Ability to provide direction, training, and support to drivers
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and phone
- Great attention to detail
- Dispatch experience an asset
