GrowME Marketing is launching Universe Money Transfer with a simple purpose: to give more, back to the community. Too much is lost in traditional transfers to Lebanon through fees and corporate overhead. We built Universe to change that — making transfers faster, fairer, and rooted in trust.
We’re looking for a **Community Marketing & Business Development Manager** to help establish Universe as the trusted, go-to money transfer service for the Lebanese community in Calgary. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at building relationships, representing a brand in the community, and driving growth through authentic connections.
**What You’ll Do**
- Lead grassroots marketing and represent Universe at Lebanese cultural events, festivals, and community gatherings.
- Build partnerships with local businesses (grocery stores, restaurants, cafés) and create sponsorship opportunities.
- Launch and manage an **Ambassador Program**, engaging respected elders, faith leaders, and entrepreneurs.
- Support sales adoption by helping families, charities, and businesses get started on the app.
- Develop partnerships with charities, NGOs, and business leaders, including real estate investors and contractors.
- Act as the bridge between **Universe** and **GrowME Marketing**, ensuring digital campaigns connect with real-world traction.
**Who You Are**
- Well-connected in the Lebanese community in Calgary.
- 3+ years experience in brand development and Program Management
- A natural relationship builder with strong communication skills.
- Comfortable networking, hosting, and guiding first-time users.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive — you know how to build a program from scratch.
- Motivated by making an impact for families and communities.
- Effectively communicate in both Arabic and English
