**Job Overview**
The IT Desktop Support Technician will provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to our managed clients, ensuring exceptional service and efficient problem resolution. This role is perfect for someone passionate about technology and eager to grow in the IT field.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Respond to inbound phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to clients and potential clients.
- Prioritize and manage support tickets based on severity and business impact.
- Diagnose, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues using critical thinking skills.
- Resolve common support requests, including password resets, new user account creation, and system configurations.
- Work on-site or remotely to support client needs.
- Research software updates, configurations, known issues, and new solutions to aid in problem resolution.
- Document all work in accordance with company standards, methods, and procedures.
- Embrace continuous learning through workshops, certifications, and job shadowing to stay current with industry trends.
- Learn and support a variety of technologies to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

**Required Technologies**
- Microsoft Windows Environments (Windows 7/8/10/11)
- Active Directory
- DNS
- Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
- Routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
- VPN
- Mac OS
- Microsoft Office (2013/2016/2019/2021)
- Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles is preferred.
- Experience using ticketing systems for managing support requests.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical expertise.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum of 1 year of help desk or desktop support experience, education, or a combination of both.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a proactive, hands-on attitude.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with a vehicle (required).
- 2 years of desktop support experience (preferred).

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
