**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and organized **Payroll and Office Administrator** to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, combining payroll expertise with administrative support to ensure seamless daily functions.
- **Key Responsibilities**_

**Payroll Management**
- Collect and process payroll data from clients, including hours worked, rates, and deductions.
- Process payroll accurately using software such as QuickBooks, EasyPay, and Sage 50.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations, including timely filing of remittances, ROEs, and T4s.
- Reconcile payroll remittances monthly and address discrepancies.

**Administrative Support**
- Organize and schedule appointments, and send reminders.
- Prepare and mail correspondence to clients and government agencies.
- Respond to client requests for documents and update client records in Excel.

**Regulatory Compliance**
- File and process PST reports and payments.
- Respond to CRA and WCB inquiries, gathering and preparing required documents.
- Assist with year-end tasks, including organizing client documentation and verifying tax filings.

**File and Mail Management**
- Scan, rename, and organize documents for client files.
- Track and return physical documents to clients upon completion of tasks.
- Sort and take action on incoming mail while maintaining accurate records.
- **Qualifications and Skills**_

**Education & Experience**:

- Post-secondary education in accounting, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in payroll processing and office administration.

**Technical Proficiency**:

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with payroll software (QuickBooks, EasyPay, Sage 50).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and processes, including remittances and year-end filings.

**Organizational & Communication Skills**:

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

**Problem-Solving Abilities**:

- Proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies or inefficiencies.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
