**About Us**

Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (RVYC) is one of the world's premier yacht clubs and the finest in Vancouver. Our mission is to promote yachting, seamanship, and fellowship among current members and those who share our values of tradition, sportsmanship, and community service, among many others.

RVYC is currently seeking an outgoing and organized individual to join our team as a **Front Desk Concierge**.

**Responsibilities**
- Warmly and professionally greet Members, visitors, and guests.
- Answer a multi-line telephone system, direct the calls appropriately, receive and relay messages, communicate general information, assist with website troubleshooting and booking reservations.
- Offer guidance and information about the Club's facilities, programs, events and services.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and exceed Member expectations.
- Learn about the club, its members, the traditions and programs in order to provide information about upcoming events and dates
- Assist and organize outgoing and incoming letters and correspondence to reciprocal clubs and act as a liaison between RVYC and other international yacht clubs.
- Other administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of high-school/GED.
- Previous experience in a customer-service role, preferably in the hospitality industry showcasing exemplary interpersonal skills and a polished demeanor.
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a busy environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the Club's needs.
- Knowledge of sailing or yacht club operations is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work alone and independently.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
