The Team

The Opportunity
These roles are instrumental in delivering person centered supports by actively engaging supported
individuals to live a fulfilling and independent life. These positions will support an individual with complex needs
at our new Staffed Residence located in North Delta. These roles will assist with social and activity programs
including accompanying persons served on excursions in the community. An active lifestyle is very important
to the resident and family. Daily logging and charting will be an ongoing, essential task of these positions.

Before Applying, You Should Know
We are hiring for three roles:

- Senior Residence Workers Grid 12 $24.48 - $28.52/hr.
- Residence Workers Grid 10 $21.63 - 25.19/hr.
- Residence Coordinator Grid 14 $28.39 - $33.06/hr.

Upon ratification, our new collective agreement will provide a substantial wage increase for each
position.

Training will be provided. Applicants must be available for training during the day.
We offer extended Health and Dental Benefits (for FT and PT employees working over 24 hours), paid

vacation and Municipal Pension Plan.
All employees must be fully vaccinated.
Applicants must be physically healthy to aid in lifting and transferring of persons served and be able to

provide personal care including toileting and grooming.

Join our team as a Residence Worker working at our new staffed residence in North Delta. This permanent
full-time role works Monday - Friday (11:00pm - 7:00am) at a salary range between $21.63 - 25.19 plus benefits,
including Extended Health and Dental and participation in the Municipal Pension Plan. This position requires
union membership.

About the Opportunity
As a full-time Residence Worker, you will work 40 hours per week at our residential home in North Delta. You
will be actively engaging supported individuals to live a fulfilling and independent life. You are a motivated and
personable individual with a passion to deliver person-centered supports. You assist with their physical, social,
emotional, educational and recreational needs. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Following an individual care plan,
Ensuring clients safety overnight,
Charting activities and observations in the client’s file and communication log,
Recognizing, analyzing and dealing with potential emergency situations ensuring no harm comes to the

client and/or the public.
Reporting concerns to the supervisor.
Food preparation and cooking as needed, and
Medicine administration.

Must be physically healthy to aid in lifting and transferring of persons served and be able to provide personal
care including toileting and grooming.

Qualifications
