The Opportunity
These roles are instrumental in delivering person centered supports by actively engaging supported
individuals to live a fulfilling and independent life. These positions will support an individual with complex needs
at our new Staffed Residence located in North Delta. These roles will assist with social and activity programs
including accompanying persons served on excursions in the community. An active lifestyle is very important
to the resident and family. Daily logging and charting will be an ongoing, essential task of these positions.

Before Applying, You Should Know
We are hiring for three roles:

- Senior Residence Workers Grid 12 $24.48 - $28.52/hr.
- Residence Workers Grid 10 $21.63 - 25.19/hr.
- Residence Coordinator Grid 14 $28.39 - $33.06/hr.

Upon ratification, our new collective agreement will provide a substantial wage increase for each
position.

Training will be provided. Applicants must be available for training during the day.
We offer extended Health and Dental Benefits (for FT and PT employees working over 24 hours), paid

vacation and Municipal Pension Plan.
All employees must be fully vaccinated.
Applicants must be physically healthy to aid in lifting and transferring of persons served and be able to

provide personal care including toileting and grooming.

Join our team as a Residence Coordinator working at our new residence in North Delta. This full-time role
works 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm) at a salary range between $28.39 - $33.06
per hour plus benefits, including Extended Health and Dental and participation in the Municipal Pension Plan.
This position requires union membership. Flexibility including evenings and weekends as required.

About the Opportunity
As a Residence Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a residence, provide ongoing
supervision of staff and participate in the evaluation of program policies. The Residence Coordinator will ensure
the home is operated in a way that is consistent with the Society and Community Living BC policies and
procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Schedules, supervises and evaluates residence staff and monitors daily operations.
Assists in recruiting and selecting of staff and provides guidance, training and orientation on policies,

procedures, techniques, report preparation or other matters arising in the residence. Identifies the
needs of staff for professional development.

Ensures that individuals served actively participate in the development of their own outcomes; and
ensure the emotional and physical well being of the individuals.
