**Production Technician**

Since 2001, IRT Integrated Rectifier Technologies Inc. has manufactured electrical power supplies utilized in the Cathodic Protection industry internationally. We are a small team-oriented company of approximately 40 staff currently and pride ourselves on providing innovative solutions and quality products to protect industry assets and the world environment. We are located in west Edmonton and are seeking a mechanically inclined, performance driven person to join our team.
- **Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)**:_
- Fabricate product panels (phenolic, UTR, Lexan, etc.) or other items
- Carry out assembly of rectifier, junction box and other product sub-assemblies
- Create and affix labels to panels and assemblies
- Carry out electrical wiring of rectifier, junction box and other product sub-assemblies
- Install rectifier, junction box and other product sub-assemblies into enclosures and carry out the final assembly process
- Complete production documentation as per quality control standards
- Carry out maintenance of equipment in the work areas
- Ensure work areas are in a clean and organized state
- Assist in other areas/departments as may be required
- **Qualifications**:_
- Training is provided but prior experience in an electrical / mechanical product manufacturing setting is preferred
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English is important
- Experience in the use of hand tools, power tools and other manufacturing equipment is required
- **Work Conditions/Environment**:_
- Permanent, full time, hourly position
- Working hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday) (40 hour work week with some overtime required)
- Manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Must have CSA approved steel toe safety footwear
- Preferably own vehicle for transportation, however public transportation is available
