Office Assistant

Sam Auto Repair is a busy and reputable automotive repair shop committed to providing excellent service and quality workmanship. We are looking for a reliable and organized Office Assistant / Manager to join our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
**Position Summary**:
The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks and supporting shop operations. This role involves managing parts orders, preparing invoices, assisting customers, handling incoming and outgoing payments, payroll, filing, and general office duties.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Order automotive parts and maintain inventory records.
- Prepare and issue invoices for completed work.
- Handle filing, data entry, and maintain accurate records.
- Process payments, manage incoming and outgoing money.
- Pay bills and monitor due dates to ensure timely payments.
- Prepare and process payroll for employees.
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed to support the shop’s operations.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in an office management or administrative role (automotive industry experience is an asset but not required).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge and experience handling payments and payroll.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., MS Office, QuickBooks, or other invoicing software).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to understand arabic or farsi is plus.
- Must be fluent in English.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
