**Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at The Tooth Corner in Hamilton Ontario. In this vital role, you will contribute to our mission by supporting our dental professionals and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist dentists during procedures and examinations.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient records and appointments using Dentrix.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Support orthodontic procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental receptionist for efficient patient flow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in dental assisting.
- **Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role.
- Proficiency in Dentrix software is essential.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification in dental assisting is preferred.

Pay: $23.00-$24.00 per hour
