**Position Summary**:
Alpha Controls is currently seeking a **Field** **Service Technician** for calibrating and validating a variety of instrumentation on-site at our customer’s facilities, as well as in our Markham lab. Using your knowledge and proper handling techniques, you will work on a broad range of instrumentation such as temperature/humidity probes and measuring devices, data loggers, multimeters, gauges, calibrators, etc.

**What you will be doing**:

- Perform calibrations, troubleshoot and service a variety of instrumentation in the process & HVAC industries
- Provide on-site validation - temperature mapping of warehouses, incubators, fridges, freezers, etc.
- Start up and commissioning
- Prepare and execute protocols and issue final reports
- Provide and maintain exceptional service to our customers with outstanding quality of service and communication
- Follow all safety procedures and practices at all times
- GTHA vs rest of Canada - 80/20

**Education and Experience**:
Instrumentation Technology Diploma or equivalent experience a must
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in calibration/service
- Have experience and knowledge of temperature & humidity mapping

- Demonstrate initiative, able to work independently, and be self-motivated
- Excellent customer service - outgoing, friendly, team player, positive attitude
- Organized, detail oriented, ability to multi-task
- Ability to deal clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers and co-workers
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
