**Role Description**:
As a Calibration Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the measurement instruments. You will be responsible for performing calibration, adjustment, and repair services on various types of test and measurement equipment, ranging from DC to RF. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision and technical expertise.

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Conduct precise and accurate calibration procedures on various test and measurement instruments (DMM, Signal Generators, AC/DC Power Supplies, Source meters, Micro-ohmmeter, Oscilloscopes, etc.) within expected timeframes.
- Create and implement calibration and repair procedures as needed.
- Create detailed calibration records, including calibration certificates, reports, and documentation of any repairs and adjustments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, providing technical assistance, and offering guidance on calibration-related matters.
- Understand Health and Safety requirements when working in-house or onsite.
- Technically Evaluate new onsite calibration contracts.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and new calibration techniques to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Manage 17025 implementation and audit.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Prior experience in calibration or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience with various test and measurement instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calibrators, and power supplies.
- Experience with using Fluke Metcal software or other Automation software is an asset.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards and calibration traceability is an asset.
- Strong safety fundamentals and experience with High Voltage Testing is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as learning and adopting new tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
