**Role Description**:
The Calibration & Service Technician should be an electronic technologist or technician with a background in the service, repair, and calibration of test and measurement equipment, ranging from DC to RF. We are proud of our superior quality driven service and aim to broaden our capability and client base. The person should be able to troubleshoot and repair a broad range of electronic laboratory test and measurement equipment including but not limited to: RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, AC/DC power supplies, Source meters, oscilloscopes, arbitrary function generators, multimeter, micro-ohmmeter, etc.. This role will build on innovation and excellence to strengthen our trade relation with new and existing clients. This is a full-time position for an energetic, highly motivated, and organized professional.

**Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to**:

- Calibrate and repair of electronic test and measurement equipment (DMM, Signal Generators, AC/DC Power Supplies, Source meters, Micro-ohmmeter, etc.) within expected timeframes.
- Create and implement calibration and repair procedures.
- Troubleshoot and systematically fault find down to component level on a broad range of equipment.
- Complete calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently
- Create calibration data sheets, with mínimal supervision, based upon instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures.
- Complete all documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting, ISO and other quality systems.
- Provide a superior level of customer support to bridge strong customer relations.
- Understand Health and Safety requirements when working in-house or onsite work linked to the manufacturing and service industry.
- Has the capability to replace electronic components using traditional soldering techniques.
- Technically Evaluate new onsite calibration contracts.
- Provide technical expertise to Sales Team.
- Assist in 17025 Implementation and Audit

**Qualifications**:

- Instrumentation Technology Diploma or equivalent experience (Electrical/ Electronics Engineering Technician/Technologist): 3 years (preferred).
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in calibration and validation.
- Experience with analog and digital troubleshooting and repairs of electronic circuits and test equipment (down to component level).
- Experience with standard industry test and measurement equipment and the uses of such equipment in a metrology environment.
- Experience with using Fluke Metcal software or other Automation software an asset
- Familiarity with certification and documentation compliant with ISO/ IEC 17025 an asset
- Strong safety fundamentals and experience with High Voltage Testing an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office as well as learning and adopting new tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required.
