**Job Description**:
**AECOM** is actively seeking a Field Technician for full time field based activities to be based out of the Markham, ON office with travel to sites in York Region and Toronto. The work will involve a 40 hr work week with optional paid overtime and includes working as a crew of 2 planning daily maintenance activities from scheduled service work orders and proceeding to install and maintain flow monitoring equipment as required. AECOM will provide all required training including:
- Confined Space Entry
- Traffic Control
- Working at Heights
- First aid / CPR
- Defensive driving
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member
- Assist with field work (e.g., flow meter installation and maintenance, rain gauge calibrations)
- Provide flow data quality assurance / analysis / reporting
- Work with industry standard computer software such as MS Office and ArcGIS
- Provide GIS support in the preparation of maps, drawings and schematics
- Maintain general understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines

**Minimum Requirements**:
- High-school diploma
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness/ability to work with their hands
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- A college diploma is preferred but not mandatory
- An understanding of wastewater collection systems and flow monitoring is preferred but not mandatory
Additional Information
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
- Offered rate of compensation for Greater Toronto Area, Ontario will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $52,000 to $62,400.
