We are looking for a **Laboratory**A**ssistant**,**Q**uality**C**ontrol**,**who will contribute to the daily activities of the site and support the smooth operational functioning of the quality control laboratories by keeping various inventories up to date, participating in the inventory management system, and assisting in the sample lifecycle management. All tasks are carried out in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and internal procedures.

The **Laboratory**A**ssistant**,**Q**uality**C**ontrol** will have the following responsibilities:

- Material Management:

- Receive and visually inspect incoming material orders on a daily basis, reporting any anomalies.
- Update inventories using digital tools based on material receipt and usage.
- Record, distribute, store, and dispose of materials in accordance with internal procedures.
- Sample Management Support:

- Assist with the recording, distribution, storage, disposal, and shipment of samples on a daily basis in accordance with internal procedures.
- Transport samples to the quality control laboratory from production areas or the receiving dock.
- Maintain daily organization and integrity of sample inventories using established records and digital tools.
- Participate, as needed, in the completion and review of documentation related to the sample lifecycle.
- Laboratory Operations Support:

- Provide support to quality control team members in both GMP and non-GMP activities.
- Participate in weekly laboratory space maintenance.
- Dispose of chemical and biological waste and expired items on a monthly basis.
- Update the safety data sheet (SDS) database for products used in the laboratory as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives during team meetings.

**You are the person we are looking for if**:

- You have a college degree in pharmaceutical production technology, laboratory technology, biotechnology, analytical chemistry, or a related discipline.
- You have experience working in a laboratory.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Word, and Excel.
- You speak, read and write in French.
- You must be able to handle/lift up to 10 kilos.
