QA/qc Technician

Port Colborne, Canada RWH Engineering Inc. Full time

RWH Engineering is recruiting for four technicians in Port Colborne, Ontario. The contract position involves providing record keeping and QA/QC responsibilities for a large deep foundations project.

1) Hold a college diploma in a technical field of study or have applicable experience in a technical or construction role that involves record keeping.

2) Have own reliable transportation to and from site.

3) Be willing to work in all weather conditions for shifts up to 12 hours.

4) Possess strong written and spoken English skills.

1) Past experience with deep foundation work or heavy civil construction.

2) Have post secondary training in a field related to civil or mechanical engineering.

3) Proven experience working outdoors in all weather.

The project is is slated to be underway by week of September 23 and anticipates completion of the contract is February 2025. Shift hours will be confirmed based on the contractor's schedule. The role is expected to involved 40-50 hours per week with possibility of overtime work on Saturdays.

This is a great opportunity for a young technician or engineer to get exposure to large scale foundation work.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
