**Company Description**:
Pro Line Nutrition is a full scale private custom manufacturing facility of natural health products located in beautiful Port Moody. We specializes in manufacturing capsules, bulk powders and liquids into high-quality finished natural health products
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Creating, revising and maintaining raw material specifications and product specifications.
- Develop and maintain approved testing protocols with approved third party lab’s.
- Sample Incoming raw materials and establish comprehensive raw material release procedures based on specification testing requirements.
- Approve/hold/release incoming raw materials based on 3rd party testing results.
- Approve/hold/release incoming product labels against approved label masters.
- Perform label reviews for NHP, Canadian Food, US Food and Dietary Supplements).
- Establish finished product specifications.
- Conduct finished product release procedures based on cGMP requirements as per Health Canada, FDA and CFIA regulations.
- Finished products and stability are reviewed to meet cGMP requirements prior to QA release
- In-process Manufacturing QA verification and validation
- Sampling and maintenance of retained samples of finished products.
- Review and maintain temperature monitoring reports and pest control reports and sanitation programs
- Maintain quality assurance program with GMP standards including preparation of SOPs, quality records and qualification and validation protocols
- Monitoring quality programs such as environmental monitoring, pest control and sanitation programs.
- Provide support to the senior regulatory as required.
- Provide support and communication to CEO and Director of Operations as required.
- Review and Approve Master Manufacturer Record
- Issue, maintain and review production batch records
- Participate in and/or lead Non-Conformance Investigations
- Complete and review Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
- Initiate, oversee, and approve the actions required to close Change Controls
- Conduct vendor qualification and continue to monitor vendor performances
- Review and approve specifications, C of A’s and QA/QC related documents for submission and recording
- Assist with communication with Health Canada pertaining to licensing, reporting and regulatory compliance
- Conduct internal audits at the pre-determined frequency to ensure compliance with NHP Regulations from Health Canada
- Assist with all external audits such as Health Canada and customer audit
- Review out-of-spec investigations to obtain adequate conclusions
- Develop and conduct on-going training programs for QA/QC and cGMP compliance for all facility personnel
**Requirements**:
- Must have completed a Food Technology Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Food Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related degree
- Must have no allergies to dust and common food allergens, including but not limited to eggs, dairy, whey, nuts, sulfites, & dust
- Should have previous experience with CFIA, Health Canada & FDA regulations.
- Strongly organized detailed analytical thinker, with mathematical and/or scientific skills
- Direct work experience with QA systems (at least 2 years)
- Knowledge of Health Canada GMP regulations for Natural Health products and Food products under the CFIA.
- Knowledge of the US FDA GMP regulations for Dietary Supplements and Food products.
- Excellent Computer skills including proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Capable of preparing reports and offering product/method recommendations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with a determined, problem solving
- dedicated attitude.
- Highly Detailed-oriented with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Chemistry and microbiology knowledge is an asset
- Ability to work and make decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage a number of diverse projects.
