Maintenance Lead

**Duties**:
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers, machinery and equipment, and other heavy equipment, transformers and other electrical equipment
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
- Train or arrange for training of workers
- Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
- Ensure that standards for safe working conditions are observed
- Prepare production and other reports
- May also supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related helpers and labourers.
**Qualification**:
- Educational background in mechanical or engineering
- Electrician license is considered an asset
- 1 - 2 years minimum experience in manufacturing or similar industry.
- Knowledge of maintenance strategies and methodologies, mechanical and associated equipment, applicable OH&S rules, regulations and guidelines.
**Required Skills**:
- Knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
