Recan management is currently looking for a superintendent for a 14 story building in Notre-dame de Grace.

**General Responsibilties**

Welcome new tenants to the building and build good rapport with all tenants

Minor repairs throughout the building and appts

Plaster/paint when necessary

Unblock toilets/sinks/bathtubs

Keep garage clear of garbage and furniture/trash/boxes.
Print out and place notices for visits of contractors, water shut off, exterminator etc.
Order cleaning/ building supplies
Shut off/ turn on water for emergency repairs

Be familiar with the heating and hot water systems to troubleshoot when necessary
Reset elevators when necessary as per technician's instructions
Change all light bulbs when burned throughout the building
Keep stairwells clear of debris and dirt
Sign for and oversee deliveries of appliances and materials
Clear walkways of ice and snow
Accompany contractors and service people when working in apartments

Be on call 24hr for any emergencies

**Summary**

As a Building Superintendent, you will oversee the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for all occupants. Reporting to the property manager, you will utilize your core skills in mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and industrial maintenance to address maintenance issues promptly. Your leadership and supervising experience will be essential in managing maintenance staff and coordinating projects. With premium skills in management and project management, you will contribute to the overall functionality of the building, while your communication skills will facilitate effective interactions with tenants and contractors.

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge, including HVAC systems
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance and schematics
- Background in project management and manufacturing environments is advantageous

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
