We are looking to hire a superintendent for our commercial building primarily to clean the common areas and on occasion to perform semi-skilled work in the maintenance of the property.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Clean and disinfect main entrance lobby, stairwells, loading docks, garage and remove trash.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that the building systems operate efficiently.
- Perform routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and water fountains.
- Perform routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps.
- Call appropriate trades for major work or repairs for quotes and supervision thereof.
- Maintain building grounds and monitor parking lot.
- Report and respond to emergency calls.
- Maintain supplies inventory and submit written requests for supplies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Skill in using hand and power tools.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- High school diploma.
- 3 years building maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s permit.

**SURINTENDANT DU BATIMENT**

DESCRIPTION DE L'EMPLOI:
Nous cherchons à engager un surintendant pour notre bâtiment commercial, principalement pour nettoyer les zones communes et, à l'occasion, pour effectuer des travaux semi-qualifiés dans l'entretien de la propriété.

TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS:

- Nettoyer et désinfecter le hall d'entrée principal, les cages d'escalier, les quais de chargement, le garage et enlever les déchets.
- Effectuer l'entretien préventif de routine afin de garantir le bon fonctionnement des systèmes du bâtiment.
- Effectuer les réparations courantes de la plomberie telles que déboucher les toilettes, les éviers ou les urinoirs, réparer les fuites d'eau, les robinets qui fuient et les fontaines à eau.
- Effectuer des réparations électriques de routine, comme changer les ampoules ou les lampes fluorescentes.
- Appelez les corps de métier appropriés pour les travaux ou réparations importants afin d'obtenir des devis et d'en assurer la supervision.
- Entretenir les terrains de l'immeuble et surveiller le parking.
- Signaler les appels d'urgence et y répondre.
- Tenir l'inventaire des fournitures et soumettre des demandes écrites de fournitures.

CONNAISSANCES, COMPÉTENCES ET CAPACITÉS:

- Habileté à utiliser des outils manuels et électriques.
- Capacité d'établir et de maintenir des relations de travail efficaces.
- Capacité à communiquer efficacement, oralement et par écrit.

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES:

- Diplôme d’école secondaire
- 3 ans d'expérience en entretien d'immeuble.
- Permis de conduire valide.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
