**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the implementation of and administer employee policies
- Actively participate in promoting positive employee relations through all interactions
- Monitor and address employee issues related to attendance, workplace behaviour, and policy non-compliance.
- Maintain employee files and Human Resources Information Systems
- Develop and support the delivery of HR driven events, initiatives and programs
- Work towards improving company policies and procedures
- Handle termination-related matters and prepare termination files.
- Provide training and support to other team members of the human resources department
- Be well-versed in laws and regulations regarding employment
- Understands the claims process for both work related and outside work injury and illness
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years of relevant HR experience preferred
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- Knowledge and expertise in HR policies and procedures
- A strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge about conflict management
- Strong decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for teamwork, collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and outstanding customer service.
- Reliable Transportation is essential - there is no transportation to the facility.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $62,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
