**Job Title**:Wedding + Event Coordinator
**Job Summary**
The Wedding Coordinator will work closely with the Wedding Sales Manager, and other Sales team to plan and execute weddings and related events taking place at The Chanterelle.
Overall duties will include day-to-day administrative tasks, event planning and coordination, maintaining rapport and consistent communications with clients, and being present on event days, as needed, to see through the seamless execution of assigned bookings.
**Responsibilities + Duties**
- Event Coordination
- Liaise with clients leading up to their event date to ensure all pertinent details are discussed and confirmed. This includes Menu planning, Floor Plan creation and Timeline approvals
- Handle accounts and payments of each client, according to the outlined payment schedule
- Coordinate between the kitchen and clients to manage the flow of service evening-of
- Maintain an approachable and positive attitude with colleagues and clients
- Being present on event days to ensure seamless flow of event execution
- Administrative Tasks
- Basic administrative tasks such running deposits and reconciling payments of post-event sales
- Communication and coordination with guests ie. planning meetings and site tours, leading up to their event date
**Qualifications + Skills**:
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills + time-management
- An ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision
- Effective communication skills
- An ability to problem solve and think quickly under pressure
- An ability to stay calm and collected in stressful situations
- Working knowledge of wedding + event planning
- Working knowledge of Banquet service operations and execution
- Excellent computer skills are an asset
- An ability to work well with team members and to be open and willing to accept feedback from both clients and colleagues
- A flexible schedule with primary availability for coverage on weekends
**Wage/Compensation**:
- This position will be paid hourly at $25 per hour
- Full time hours are expected to be fulfilled, with off-season flexibility
- Full time employees are granted 2 weeks paid vacation per year
- Benefits will be awarded on a tenure/merit-based program by which renegotiation of these terms if open for discussion after 1 year employment with the company
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay

- French not required
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
