We are looking for a Logistics & Shipping Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone with 4-6 years of logistics experience and a proven ability to enhance productivity while ensuring operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Logistics & Shipping Operations: Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Manage cross-border shipping and compliance, handling all required documentation to meet regulatory standards.
- Cost Management:
Reviewed contracts to identify savings opportunities, negotiated better shipping rates and payment terms, and audited logistics invoices weekly to resolve discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Design and implement efficient workflows to reduce operational errors and enhance overall productivity. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across logistics and shipping operations.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff. Responsible for training, coaching, and motivating employees to meet performance goals while maintaining a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Inventory & Returns Management: Oversee inventory tracking, manage returns processing, and ensure inventory levels are accurate. Minimize shrinkage and loss through effective inventory control measures.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making. Collect and analyze operational data to automate reporting and create dashboards that provide easy-to-understand metrics for performance monitoring.
- Project Management: Lead and manage new projects from start to finish, with mínimal guidance. Ensure that project timelines, budgets, and resources are effectively managed to deliver successful outcomes.
- Facility Management:
Maintained a safe and secure facility with no incidents, resolved issues within 24 hours, and set up new hire equipment while coordinating with IT and security vendors.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 4-6 years of experience in Logistics & Shipping, with a strong understanding of inbound and outbound operations and cross-border compliance.
- 3 years of experience in Process Improvement, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement workflows that increase efficiency and reduce errors.
- 3-5 years of team management experience, skilled in leading, training, and motivating warehouse staff, while ensuring accountability and providing ongoing coaching.
- 2 years of experience in Inventory and Returns Management, with proficiency in inventory tracking and return processing.
- Strong analytics skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, create automated reporting, and present data in an actionable format.
- Experience with Power BI and Business Central is a plus, but not required.
- Project Management experience: Proven ability to lead projects from inception to completion with mínimal supervision, ensuring successful execution on time.

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
