The Network Automation team is the heart of the Network Operations, leading the enterprise in the evolution of event driven automation. This rewarding role allows the opportunity to work with talented specialists across all network platforms and systems, with the goal of achieving the most advanced Network Operations in the industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a development team to design and implement automations across Operations using combination of in house and open source development tools
- Develop network automation, network tools/scripts and web front end interface for users
- Develop and integrate various databases for tracking and interfacing with other systems/tools
- Instill development best practices within the Automation Team
- Develop and coach team of high performing automation developers
- Manage the day-today operations of the team
- Identify new automation opportunities based on data driven analysis
- Liaise with other Engineering teams for ongoing projects and roadmap planning

**Required skills**
- Experience working with Agile and DevOps practices
- 5 years of experience in a Technology Management Role
- Experience in object-oriented programming (i.e. Java) and/or scripting (i.e. Python/Perl/Robot Framework)
- Experience in web design (i.e. HTML or Javascript) with basic knowledge of databases (i.e. SQL or Oracle)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to drive software development solutions

**Great-to-haves**
- Experience in telecommunications environment
- Experience with event management system (Netcool,etc) or incident management system (Remedy/SNOW,etc)
- Understanding of networking concepts and Basic understanding of APIs
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, with solid ability to identify and correct defects
- CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or similar networking certification will be an asset
