The Tarcott Group is a successful building maintenance and construction company in the Fraser Valley, founded in 2008. We handle an assortment of work from building envelope projects, water restoration and deck replacements - just to name a few. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager/Estimator to join our team.

The Project Manager/Estimator position is responsible for the planning and execution of construction projects as well as overseeing and monitoring progress. If you have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent analytical and communication skills, we want to hear from you.

**Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
- Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, etc.)
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, permits, and other project-related expenses
- Leading, planning and overseeing project deliverables, installation schedules and project documentation.
- Coordinating internal resources and applicable team members to ensure that everything is on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather additional information as needed
- Conduct research to obtain cost data on labour, materials, and production to be within budgets.
- Present cost estimates to clients or stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
- Total review of all construction documents and specifications including addendum, RFI’s and change notices.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide regular updates to project managers

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in building envelope, or Project Coordinator/Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Thoroughness and excellent organizational skills.
- Must have valid BC driver’s license, company vehicle is provided

Wage is dependent on experience and work ethic.

We work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, closed on statutory holidays. Extended health benefits available after 6 months.
