Burlington, Canada Jobsite Industrial Rental Services Full time

**Responsibilities**:

- Utilize Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and good at data manipulation/presentation, to effectively organize, manage and outline Purchasing related information;
- Place daily purchase orders in a timely manner, in order to fill our branch requirements;
- Provide our customer (our branches) with exemplary service;
- Contact our own branches, vendors, and working with our accounting department in both order preparation, and problem resolutions;
- Assist and participate in projects as they arise;
- Negotiate and resolve issues with branches and vendors;
- Able to work independently
- Other duties as required

**Key Qualifications**:

- Previous purchasing experience, or experience within a related position;
- Good communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to work productively in a team-centric environment;
- Able to work independently with limited supervision and make some key decisions;
- Skilled in time management and organization;
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel;
- Flexibility to adapt to special/ad-hoc projects as they arise.

**Additional Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with building products and construction equipment will be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
