Sales Account Manager

Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager or the Vice President of Sales, this advanced sales position is responsible for all aspects of accounts including business relationship with our broker partners, growth, as well as creating strategies to build new partnerships and business opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for delivering an exceptional level of service, while proactively building both internal and external strategic relationships.
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas to increase sales and profit.
- Proactively identify and prioritize client needs, opportunities and risks.
- Communicate strategies to the broker team to ensure business development strategies are clear and aligned with Freshouse Foods strategies.
- Communicate launch of new products to broker and identify issues and opportunities to further develop Freshouse Foods business results.
- Ensure customer day-to-day needs are met by managing and coordinating efforts of cross functional teams such as Customer Service, Finance, Logistics, Operations, amongst others.
- Develop a deep understanding of the retail customer’s strategies and their needs.
- Build and maintain knowledge base of competitors and retailer trends in the marketplace/industry and integrate this information into strategic recommendations.
- Work with the sales team to maintain transparency from customer to production.
**Qualifications**:
- Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in relevant field such as Business Administration, Sales and or Marketing.
- A minimum of three (3) years working knowledge in account management.
- Experience within a key account team in a consumer-packaged goods industry is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Loblaw, Metro, Walmart account(s) is considered an asset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and execute multiple projects on time and on budget.
- Strong analytical, planning, negotiation, presentation as well as Project Management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross functional team as well as with external partners.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP experience is considered an asset.
