Flightpath Charter Airways is a private jet management and charter company with offices based at the Region of Waterloo International Airport. We manage over 15 aircraft based at various airports across Ontario and Quebec.

Position Overview:

- Perform AP duties by verifying vendor’s invoices, processing & allocate expense to correct account; code it to the right job number
- Perform AR duties by working with sales personnel, creating invoices, providing payment instructions and follow-up payments
- Perform owner’s invoicing procedure including invoice split, ensure owner’s invoices are accurate and complete, follow up with owners for the payment collection.
- Process credit cards expense by acquiring invoices paid by credit cards, code the expense to the right accounts and jobs; perform month-end reconciliation against the statements
- Complete monthly bank reconciliation, assist HST/GST filing
- Deposit cheque, enter payment entries, update the trip invoice and payment information.
- Respond to vendor/customer’s inquiries
- Other ad-hoc accounting tasks that assigned to you

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting with 1 year related work experience
- Strong work ethic, customer oriented and results driven
- Intermediate Excel level, great mathematical skills with good logical thinking
- Being flexible/ able to work overtime to meet the deadlines
- Fluent in journal entries, sound understanding of accounting principals
- Ability to work with competing priorities in an efficient manner
- A team player and a self-starter

**Job Type**: Part time 3 days/week for 3 months, with long term potential.

**Salary**: salary to be determined based upon experience and qualifications

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Post-secondary education in Business or Accounting

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year related work experience preferred

Work Location: One location
