**Global Account Manager - Aerospace & Defense**
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Establishes and maintains customer relationships in order to grow profitable sales. Learns and evaluates customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements and preferences.
- Seeks out prospective Aerospace & Defense customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers within a specified geographical territory
- Responsible for marketing, promoting and profitably selling products and services to existing and potential Aerospace & Defense customers
- Increasing business by generating sales to new Aerospace & Defense customers and by selling additional products to existing customers.
- Develop and implement a strategic annual sales growth plan to support sales and profitability goals.
- Makes personal sales calls at customer sites on a regular basis
- Prepares and leads quarterly business review presentations for all strategic customer accounts
- Follows-up on all generated quotations and orders to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution
- Generates profitable sales orders
- Develop and maintain a sales forecast to help analyze market conditions and/or changes in assigned territory for maximum productivity and sales growth
- Processes product quotations and provides continuous follow up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle
- Gathers and reports to management information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products and current and future market trends as well as assists management and vendors in planning, tracking and implementing sales strategies and developing new markets
- Achieves and maintains technical capabilities at required levels, attends customer seminars, schools and special promotions and participates in sales meetings, vendor seminars and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
- Performs other duties as instructed or required to successfully complete the job.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer opportunity data with the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
- Up to 25% travel, primarily for client meetings, trade shows, and training sessions

**Education / Experience**:
- 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in a sales role
- Post-secondary degree an asset
- Customer account management experience
- Territory management
- Automotive experience
**Additional Skills**:
- Fluent in Spanish considered an asset
