Administrative Assistant

As an Administrative Assistant you will be considered as the first point of contact whether in person or through phone. You will primarily be responsible for answering or making calls, assisting our team with administrative needs, data entry, filing and general office duties.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Answering phones, taking memos and maintaining files;
- Sending and receiving correspondence;
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences;
- Schedule and confirm appointments, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages;
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory;
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents;
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information;
- Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems;
- Additional duties as assigned.
**Skills and Abilities**
- Knowledge in a computerized work environment
- Good business communication/correspondence skills
- Good team player
- Well organized with multiple tasks
- Multilingual ability is an asset
**Essentials**
- Completion of secondary school is usually required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative office work
- Fluent in English speaking and writing
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
