**WORK LIFE**:
The Sales and Customer Support Specialist is expected to work during regular business hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm for a total of 40 hours per week.

**LOCATION**:
Office in Burnaby, BC with some work from home a possibility

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or relevant experience in sales.
- Minimum 1 year experience in outdoor recreation wholesale or retail operations
- Minimum 1 year experience involved with e-commerce retail
- In depth knowledge of the outdoor recreation industry
- Must be a passionate outdoor person yourself to use and understand the products we represent

**A DAY IN THE LIFE - WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**

This role is involved in various aspects of business-to-business sales, marketing, retail dealer support and sales representative support for Canada and USA (where applicable). This role is part of the Sales Department, working closely with Sales and Marketing Manager, Managing Director, and numerous Sales Representatives to ensure corporate annual and seasonal sales goals are being achieved.

The following are a list of duties and responsibilities.
- Actively promote and sell all of ROI brands and products to (wholesale) retail customers in Canada and USA
- Understand and follow the strategic direction established by Management for B2B sales and marketing
- Assist with product data, imagery, descriptions, pricing, and other information to ensure this information shared with reps and retailers is accurate and up to date each season.
- Be a point person to assist ROI’s sales rep team with their needs and requests
- Be the lead reviewing for accuracy, making adjustments and approving imported sales orders from our B2B system to ERP
- Managing the flow of sales orders, based on inventory and requested ship dates. Work with the unshipped report and the warehouse to ensure orders are shipping in a timely manner
- Being part of the ongoing servicing of important internal accounts and key national retailers
- Assisting with inventory management and item allocation. Identifying current and non-current items each season
- Become an expert in the use of Elastic to be able to guide and train sales reps on its efficient use for presentations, order suggestion and order collection
- Be the lead with the organization, distribution and collection of sales rep samples
- Identify and build relationships with new retail customers and organizations that ROI should engage with because it would align with ROI’s sales and marketing goals
- Cover co-worker’s roles during their vacation
- Other tasks and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by Sales and Marketing Manager and/or Managing Director.

**Salary**: From $43,000.00 per year
