Serva-Lite Sales Ltd. has been serving the emergency lighting and fire alarm markets since 1986. We are a specialized electrical wholesale distributor providing specialized products and services to contractors, school districts and fire alarm companies in British Columbia and Alberta. **JOB BRIEFING**
You are responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with customers and suppliers through generating accurate quotations, sales orders and returns that align with our Heroic Customer Service core value. Inside Sales will also work closely with Outside Sales to provide excellent customer service, follow-ups and proactively monitor ongoing projects. In addition, this role will be required to work or cover at the counter to assist and interact with our customers.
**Customer Service Orientated.** Providing excellent customer service is key for this role as it will require maintaining and building customer relations through the sales cycle.
**Strong Multi-tasker**. This role will require you to juggle through several client requests at a time accurately while being able to meet timelines.
**Collaborative Communicator**. Communication is essential for this role. Clear, approachable communication, verbal and written, with timely follow-ups are keys to success with our customers
**Highly Organized**. Being organized is key due to the high volume of customer requests that will require you to adjust and work through interruptions.
**Comfortable with Technology**. This role requires using the phone and computer to follow up on the customer's request and must be able to sit at a desk for 4+ hours per day
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Helping with occasional walk-in’s
- Follow-up with vendors to get lead-time on status of purchase orders
- Leverage the expertise of the team to answer technical questions
- Looking at product spec sheets and learning about life safety products
- On site at our Burnaby office 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday to Friday
**REQUIREMENTS**
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Electrical distribution/product knowledge is an asset
- Good mathematical and data entry skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Excel)
- Clean criminal background check

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
