Our Communications team is currently growing, and we are looking for a full-time Communications Specialist to join our team This individual will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to help Advisors build a better business. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for supporting corporate communication tactics across all channels with a key focus to support operational lines of business. They will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including senior management, to provide communication support, write/edit content, and oversee the quality of communications.
**What you will do**
- Write, edit, review and lead the production and publication of IPC’s Advisor Newsletter.
- Manage the publication and distribution of corporate news to the corporate intranet.
- Provide communications support, including writing and/or editing
- as assigned - for various Operational and Events initiatives.
- Support content writing, production and execution for the social media channels ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
- Maintain and update distribution lists for efficient communication delivery.
- Monitor shared mailboxes to ensure all requests are responded to promptly and directed to correct people as needed
- Coordinate translation requests, tracking progress and delivery.
- Monitor and report on communications metrics and engagement.
- Support the development and execution of content and communication campaigns as assigned.
- Maintain an organized archive of communication materials and resources.
**What you will bring**
- Minimum 5 years experience in communications - in complex organizational structure.
- Post-secondary degree in communications, digital communications and/or marketing communications.
- Advanced knowledge of content management systems such as Sharepoint, intranet systems, and website blog management
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office suite; including PowerPoint
- Proficient knowledge of social media platforms and community management
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Strong writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and capable of dealing with tight deadlines.
- Ability to follow consistency guidelines.
- Highly responsive, and a self-starter.
- Resourceful and agile in nature and able to pivot as the business evolves.
- Able to proactively seek out information and engage with business partners across the organization to support communication efforts
The base salary for this position is between **$56,000****:
- $ 83,900** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
