Rogers is seeking a **Facilities Specialist** to join the Access Networks Teams located at Mississauga, ON or Richmond Hill, ON. We look forward to reviewing your resume, should you be interested.

**What you will be doing**:

- Ensure that required site repair and maintenance work is being managed to completion.
- Obtaining competitive quotes and issuing work to vendors as required.
- Coordinating payments to vendors by creating, tracking and closing PO’s along with processing of invoices for payment.
- Interact with finance and management regarding costs of projects ensuring competitive pricing and proper categorization of CAPEX and OPEX expenses.
- Communicate observed trends/concerns to management and provide suggestions on departmental improvements/initiatives.
- Provide mentoring and training to third party contractors.Inspect and accept work delivered by third parties.
- Subject matter expert on all repair processes/procedures.
- Assist with special projects as needed.

**What you will bring**:

- Experience in Cable headend or Data center environments with knowledge of facilities operations.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Be able to participate and work overtime as required.
- Willing to work flexible shifts and schedules during the day, night, and weekends.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Knowledge of relevant Rogers Engineering and Operations Processes would be an asset.
- Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent job experience is required.
