**Communication Specialist**

**Essential Functions**:

- Responsible for content management and administration of Canadian Franchise English/French Portals ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and adheres to corporate and legal guidelines.
- Canadianizing and scheduling of corporate and internal mailing campaigns related to products, events, promotions, resources and operations for the weekly newsletter.
- Providing marketing support for EQS Canada including content/catalog, trade show materials and website management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to administer effective communication strategies keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
- Coordinated French translations of marketing materials as needed and maintain relationships with translation service providers.
- Support sales initiatives by assisting with all elements of the promotion plan, ensuring print materials are launch ready, bi-lingual and communicated.
- Complete ad hoc projects as assigned, including assisting with proofreading and approving print materials, as well as providing marketing support for franchise operations manuals, disclosure documents, and recruiting materials.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business marketing, social sciences, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a communications specialist or in a similar role. Strong editing skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in English. French proficiency is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint with experience in data visualization, content organization, transitions and multimedia integration.
- Experience in content management, embedding links within text and/or images and optimizing content for user experience and searchability.
- Solid understanding of the Internet is required. Knowledge of HTML and CSS programming languages is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently while managing workload and deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
