**What Your Day May Look Like**:
- Assist in managing warehouse personnel, ensure adequate training.
- Ensure receipt of incoming shipments are complete in a timely fashion including associated paperwork.
- Loads and unloads material and supplies using available equipment.
- Records deliveries and pickups.
- Responsible for the return of any goods (including reels) to suppliers and keep records of such shipments.
- Adds freight charges to packing slips if applicable.
- Responsible for inventory discrepancies and records of action taken.
- Arranges for maintenance of machinery.
- Maintains a safe and efficient warehouse in all conditions.
- Cutting and picking of orders when necessary.
- Assist and participate in the preparation and completion of inventory counts.
- Act necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment for self and others.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**What You Will Need to Succeed**:
- Proficient in inventory software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work different shifts if necessary.
- Experience in Wholesale Distribution
- Excellent knowledge of electrical wire/cable
- Thorough knowledge of warehousing policies and practices.
- Ability to comprehend verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to operate computer.
- Management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use or repair small, medium, and heavy equipment and machinery.
**Minimum Requirements**
- 2-year term
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Min. 2 years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field
- Certified in ‘Basics of Electricity’
- Minimum Lean Certification in 5S Methodology (ISO Ref 18404
- First Aid Certification (Minimum Level 2)
- Forklift Certification (counterbalance and high reach)
