At **Pawmer Vet Clinic**, we’re creating a compassionate and supportive veterinary team, and we need a **Client Care Specialist** to help us deliver an exceptional experience for pets and their families.

As the face and voice of our clinic, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a key role in shaping their experience and ensuring their pets receive the best care possible.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Welcome clients**: Greet pet parents and their furry companions with warmth and professionalism.
- **Coordinate appointments**: Schedule visits, manage reminders, and help ensure the clinic runs smoothly.
- **Support client education**: Share information about services, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
- **Manage records and payments**: Maintain accurate medical records, process invoices, and handle payments.
- **Collaborate with the team**: Work closely with veterinary staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
- **Contribute to clinic cleanliness**: Help with general cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and welcoming environment (this is a team-wide responsibility).
- **Be a problem-solver**: Address client questions and concerns with empathy and resourcefulness.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role (veterinary experience is a bonus but not required).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively and stay calm in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software (ezyvet experience is a bonus).
- **Personal Attributes**:

- A friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.
- A passion for animals and helping people.
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Pawmer Vet Clinic is a modern, startup veterinary practice serving the NW and SW Calgary area. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality care while fostering a positive experience for pets, their families, and our team. As the clinic owner and sole veterinarian (to start), I’m dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels supported and appreciated.

**How to Apply**:

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
